Desired College and Major: Will be attending a community college to pursue studies in Criminal Justice and Welding.

  • 1st Team All State (2023)

  • 2nd Team All Conference (2023)

Outside of School Activities:

  • Member of National Honor Society (Junior Year)

Career Goal in 2 Years:
I’ve earned many college credits in high school and plan to transfer several of them to my community college. My goal is to complete two degrees in two years—an Associate's Degree in Criminal Justice and an Applied Science Degree in Welding.

Career Goal in 5 Years:
After completing community college, I hope to maintain my strong GPA and continue playing baseball. I’m in contact with college coaches and aim to transfer to a four-year school with academic and athletic scholarships.

Career Goal in 10 Years:
My dream is to pitch in the MLB. I’ve worked hard on and off the field, including weekly trips to a pitching coach. I’ve had to make tough decisions to improve my chances to play at the next level, including changing positions. At the same time, I plan to begin a career in Criminal Justice and stay open to where life and faith lead me in the future.

Why this grant?
Being a first-generation college student is very challenging. I’ve had to learn everything on my own about applying and preparing for college. While I’m excited, I’m also concerned about the financial burden. This scholarship would allow me to focus on my studies and baseball without the added stress of large expenses.

How will this help you?
I’ve attended the same private school since I was 3 years old, and my parents have covered tuition every year. Now that college is my responsibility to pay for, every bit of financial support matters. I’ve earned some scholarships at four-year schools, but a junior college is still the best fit for me because of baseball and affordability.
