I plan to attend a four‑year university outside of Colorado to study sports broadcasting.
Career Objective:
My career goal is to become a successful sports broadcaster, ideally working at the professional level. I hope to one day work in major sports organizations and cover high‑level events across the country.
Community Service Activities:
I have volunteered in several community service roles, including helping at a food bank, assisting at school athletic events, supporting freshman orientation activities, and participating in community cleanup efforts.
Baseball Activities:
I have played baseball nearly my entire life and earned varsity letters during my upper‑class years. I have also participated in community baseball events and have been involved with local baseball organizations for several years.
Outside of School Activities:
As a sophomore, I completed a leadership program connected to my school’s athletic program, which helped me grow as a leader and teammate.
Career Goal in 2 Years:
In two years, I hope to be in college beginning my broadcasting journey. I want to gain experience by covering school sporting events and traveling with teams to broadcast away games.
Career Goal in 5 Years:
In five years, I hope to be working with a broadcast team—either as a sports anchor for a news station or as a broadcaster for a college or professional sports organization.
Career Goal in 10 Years:
In ten years, I hope to be a successful sports broadcaster traveling across the country to cover major sporting events. My dream is to become a well‑known broadcaster who covers a wide range of sports.

I am applying for this grant to help pay for my college education at a four‑year university.
