Desired College and Major:

I plan to continue my baseball career at a college outside of Colorado and study exercise science.

 

Career Objective:

My goal is to study biomechanics and exercise science to help optimize athletic performance. I want to bring this knowledge into coaching and training so I can continue contributing to the baseball community. I have always been interested in how the body works, and I want to help athletes get the most out of their abilities while helping grow the game.

 

 

Community Service Activities:

I have participated in several community service activities, including volunteering with respite care programs and supporting holiday assistance programs for families in need.

 

Baseball Activities:

I have been a varsity baseball player for three years and have earned multiple honors, including all‑conference and academic all‑state recognition. I have also umpired youth baseball games for two years, helping support younger players and the local baseball community.

 

Outside of School Activities:

I have been a multi‑year state qualifier in mountain biking and have competed in business and health‑science leadership organizations at the state level. These activities have helped me develop discipline, leadership, and a strong work ethic.

 

Career Goal in 2 Years:

In two years, I plan to earn my associate degree at a junior college and transfer to a four‑year university to continue both my baseball career and my education.

 

Career Goal in 5 Years:

In five years, I hope to graduate with little to no debt, having gained experience in the baseball industry through internships and academic study. My goal is to begin working in the field of athletic performance or baseball development.

 

Career Goal in 10 Years:

In ten years, I hope to run a comprehensive baseball, training, and sports performance facility where I can combine my passion for biomechanics, coaching, and athlete development.

 

Why This Grant?:

My long‑term goals of staying involved in baseball and giving back to the game align with the mission of this scholarship. Receiving this grant would help reduce the financial burden of college and support my path toward a career in baseball performance and coaching.

 

How This Grant Will Help Me:

This grant would significantly reduce the financial stress of attending college and help me work toward my goal of graduating debt‑free. It would allow me to focus more on academics, athletics, and preparing for a career in the baseball industry.
